The Introits, Collects Epistles, and Gospels

The Introits, Collects, Epistles, and Gospels
with the Graduals, Alleluias, and Tracts, for Holly Communion and the proper readings and antiphons for Matins and Evensong on the Sundays and other Feasts and Fasts of the Church Year.

¶ The antiphon appointed to be sung with the Invitatory at Matins shall be the antiphon sung with the  Introit at Holy Communion.
¶ On any day for which no Introit or Collect has been appointed the Introit or Collect for the proceeding Sunday shall be sung or said, unless otherwise noted.
¶The same rule shall apply for the Gradual, Alleluia, or Tract
¶ On any Feast for which no Epistle or Gospel is appointed to be read at Holy Communion, then shall be read the Common appointed.
¶On feral days for which no reading is apointed, the readings for mass shall be taken from the Epistle and Gospel appointed for the daily office, unless a votive mass is said in which case the propers hereinafter shall be used.
¶The following votive masses may be said on feral days or on feast days so long as the mass of the feast is not suppressed by the votive mass.

¶ The Office Readings provided for the ember and rogation days are strictly optional.
