The First Lesson
Exo 33:7-19

Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the
camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass,
that every one which sought the Lord went out unto the tabernacle of
the congregation, which was without the camp. 8 And it
came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose
up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone
into the tabernacle. 9 And it came to pass, as Moses
entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door
of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses. 10 And
all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the
people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door. 11 And
the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his
friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of
Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle. 12 And
Moses said unto the Lord, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people:
and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said,
I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight. 13 Now
therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy
way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider
that this nation is thy people. 14 And he said, My
presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. 15 And
he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. 16 For
wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy
sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and
thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth. 17 And
the Lord said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast
spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name. 18 And
he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. 19 And he
said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the
name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be
gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

MY soul doth magnify the Lord, * and my spirit hath

The Second Lesson
Heb. 1:1-12
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners
spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath
in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of
all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being
the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding
all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins,
sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: 4 Being
made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more
excellent name than they. 5 For unto which of the angels
said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again,
I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? 6 And
again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let
all the angels of God worship him. 7 And of the angels
he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. 8 But

The
Creed
¶ Then shall be said
the Apostles’ Creed by the Minister and the People, standing. And any Churches
may, instead of the words, He descended into hell, use the words, He
went into the place of departed spirits,
which are considered as words of the same meaning in the Creed.
I
BELIEVE in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
Born of the Virgin Mary: Suffered under Pontius Pilate, Was crucified, dead,

ALMIGHTY God, who hast knit together thine elect in one communion and
fellowship, in the mystical body of thy Son Christ our Lord; Grant us grace so
to follow thy blessed Saints in all virtuous and godly living, that we may come
to those unspeakable joys which thou hast prepared for those who unfeignedly

Collect of the Holy Trinity
ALMIGHTY
and everlasting God, who hast given unto us thy servants grace, by the
confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity,
and in the power of the Divine Majesty to worship the Unity; We beseech thee
that thou wouldest keep us stedfast in this faith, and evermore defend us from
all adversities, who livest and reignest, one God,

and everlasting God, from whom cometh every good and perfect gift; Send down

please thee, pour upon them the continual dew of thy blessing. Grant this, O
Lord, for the honour of our Advocate arid Mediator, Jesus Christ. Amen.

O GOD,
the Creator and Preserver of all mankind, we humbly beseech thee for all sorts
and conditions of men; that thou wouldest be pleased to make thy ways known
unto them, thy saving health unto all nations. More especially we pray for thy
holy Church universal; that it may be so guided and governed by thy good
Spirit, that all who profess and call themselves Christians may be led into the
way of truth, and hold the faith in unity of spirit, in the bond of peace, and
in righteousness of life. Finally, we commend to thy fatherly goodness all
those who are any ways afflicted, or distressed, in mind, body, or estate; 
[*especially those for whom
our prayers are desired;] that it may please thee to comfort and relieve
them, according to. their several necessities; giving them patience under their

God, Father of all mercies, we, thine unworthy servants, do give thee most
humble and hearty thanks for all thy goodness and loving-kindness to us and to

up their praises and thanksgivings for thy late mercies vouchsafed unto them.] We bless thee for our
creation, preservation, and all the blessings of this life; but above all, for
thine inestimable love in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ;

us that due sense of all thy mercies, that our hearts may he unfeignedly

ALMIGHTY
God, who hast given us grace at this time with one accord to make our common
supplications unto thee; and dost promise that when two or three are gathered
together in thy Name thou wilt grant their requests; Fulfil now, O Lord, the
desires and petitions of thy servants, as may be most expedient for them;
granting us in this world knowledge of thy truth, and in the world to come life
everlasting. Amen.
